Your story matters. This scholarship uplifts BIPOC and low-income high school students who have demonstrated compassion and care by helping someone in need.

• Winners will be announced on: August 11, 2025

Eligibility

To apply, you must be:

• A high school student
• From a low-income background and/or identify as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, or Person of Color)

Essay or Video Submission

Choose one of the following:

• A written essay (400–600 words)
• OR a video submission (approx. 2–3 minutes)

Topic to write

Tell us about a time when you helped someone in need. What happened? Why did you help them? What did you learn from the experience?

Selection Criteria

• Financial need and/or underrepresented background
• Personal story of helping others
• Demonstrated empathy, leadership, or impact
• Boldest Bold.org profile
