Under this scheme, selected students can receive monthly scholarships up to ₹6,000, depending on their course category. The program is particularly intended for meritorious students from economically weaker backgrounds.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for this scholarship, a student must:

  • Be a Muslim and a domicile of Punjab.
  • Belong to one of the eligible academic categories:

Meritorious StudentsClass 10 or 12 pass-outs pursuing further education

  • Meet minimum academic performance:
    • 90% marks (Private school) or 80% marks (Government/Waqf/Waqf-aided school) in Class 10 or 12.
    • 65% marks in Postgraduate courses.
  • Belong to the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) with an annual family income not exceeding ₹8,00,000.

Note:

  • The income limit is not applicable for Meritorious Students category.
  • Candidates under the Coaching & Training category must appear in a qualifying examination conducted for selection.

Who can apply for this scholarship?

Only Muslim students domiciled in Punjab are eligible.

Can students studying outside Punjab apply?

Yes, as long as they are Punjab domiciles, they can apply.

Is this available for competitive exam coaching?

Yes. Scholarships are available for coaching in NEET, JEE, UPSC, SSC, and other similar exams.

What if I’m in a private school?

You must have scored at least 90% marks in your last exam.

Is there an income limit?

Yes, the annual family income must be ₹8,00,000 or less, except for the Meritorious Students category, where no income limit applies.
