The Punjab Waqf Board Scholarships 2025 is a financial assistance program for supporting Muslim students in Punjab who are pursuing higher education. Whether you’re a medical, engineering, law, or postgraduate student, or someone preparing for competitive exams like NEET, JEE, UPSC, or SSC. This scholarship program can help reduce your financial burden.

Under this scheme, selected students can receive monthly scholarships up to ₹6,000, depending on their course category. The program is particularly intended for meritorious students from economically weaker backgrounds.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for this scholarship, a student must:

• Be a Muslim and a domicile of Punjab.
• Belong to one of the eligible academic categories:

Category	Courses
Professional Category 1	MBBS, MS, MD, BDS, MDS, BVSC, MVSC
Professional Category 2	B.Tech, BUMS, BAMS, B.Sc. Agriculture, Horticulture, etc.
Professional Category 3	LLB, LLM, B.Sc. Nursing, B.Pharma, etc.
Non-Professional	All general Graduate and Postgraduate courses
Meritorious Students	Class 10 or 12 pass-outs pursuing further education
Coaching & Training	Coaching for NEET, JEE, UPSC, SSC, etc.

• Meet minimum academic performance:
  • 90% marks (Private school) or 80% marks (Government/Waqf/Waqf-aided school) in Class 10 or 12.
  • 65% marks in Postgraduate courses.
• Belong to the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) with an annual family income not exceeding ₹8,00,000.

Note:

• The income limit is not applicable for Meritorious Students category.
• Candidates under the Coaching & Training category must appear in a qualifying examination conducted for selection.

• Copy of Aadhaar Card
• Academic mark sheets (Class 10/12/Competitive exam results)
• Domicile Certificate
• EWS Certificate
• Passport-size photograph
• Proof of admission or selection (for quota seats)
• Affidavit (as per format)
• Copy of bank passbook
