About the Scholarship

The Randy King Memorial Scholarship honors the life and legacy of Randy King — a devoted husband and father who tragically lost his battle with pancreatic cancer in 2022.

During his two-year fight, Randy and his family faced emotional and financial hardships, especially regarding their children’s education. This scholarship continues his legacy of love and generosity by supporting students who, like his family, have been impacted by cancer.

Essay Requirement

Applicants must submit a 400–600 word essay answering the following prompt:

“How has your cancer or the cancer of a family member affected you? What has the impact been? How have you worked through this?”

  • At least one letter of recommendation
