About the Scholarship

StatusGator is passionate about building a more inclusive and innovative future in technology.

Women and girls bring crucial perspectives to tech, but they remain underrepresented in computer science and other technical fields. From early barriers in classrooms to gaps in professional spaces, the challenges are clear, and this scholarship aims to help change that narrative.

The StatusGator Women in Tech Scholarship supports and encourages young women determined to make a mark in technology.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Education Level: High school senior
• Gender: Female
• Field of Study: Pursuing a career in technology or a related field

Essay Topic:

Applicants must submit a 400–600 word essay responding to the following prompt:

“Tell us about a moment or experience that sparked your interest in technology. How has that experience shaped your goals, and what impact do you hope to make through your future career in tech? What challenges have you faced, and what excites you most about the future of the field?”
